About Me

I am a creative problem solver, strategic thinker and brand driver. For over 20 years I have honed my skills at some of the world’s most famous creative agencies including Ogilvy, Saatchi & Saatchi and Grey.

Winning over 50 international awards for creativity and effectiveness, whilst helping to build billion-dollar brands such as Febreze, Lenor, Weber Grill and Ford.

I have always had an entrepreneurial drive to create, starting my first company at 14 and founding numerous businesses since then in diverse sectors, including music, retail, heritage goods and consulting.

Led 3 international billion-dollar brands in their strategy and future vision across iEMEA.

Spent 20+ years building brands for some of the world's most famous creative advertising agencies. And created 3 brands from scratch.

Copywriting

With over 20 years writing copy, from DM to film, editing and commissioning Weber Grill's magazine, to product copy and blogs for ecommerce.

Led a team of 25 creatives, dealing with resources, holidays and personal problems. Dept won numerous pitches and over 30 international industry awards.

Content Creation

Created and written over 50 blog posts with pertinent SEO, some of which are cited on Wikipedia + involved in hundreds of edits for clients whilst working in advertising.

Community Building

Built a funnel that created an engaged community that now has over 25k email subscribers to a newsletter.

Team Leadership

Ran a 25-person creative department at Grey, including creative directors, art directors, copywriters and digital experts, billing at £7-8 million a year.

During a 20 year career in international advertising agencies I have created and presented creative work to the highest level of brand stakeholders.

Recruitment

Built creative department's from scratch, interviewing hundreds of candidates whose skills are complimentary to each other.

Market Research

Deep dived into numerous markets for both brands, business plans and pitch decks to understand the potential of the market, consumer profiles and personas.

Public Relations

Worked with developers to create consumer friendly UX thinking. Designed and created front end visuals for 4 websites that define the consumer facing brand.

Event Planning

Designed and implemented 7 pop-up shops and trade show stands that projected a brands look and feel that enticed visitors.
